ABSTRACT
This article describes the seed germination of Ferula L. species. There are 33 species in the Western Pamir-Alay ridge. The germination rate of Ferula L. species is passive and must pass through a physiologically dormant period. In nature, the temperature factor plays an important role in controlling the germination process of seeds. Growing seeds at different temperatures allows us to think about their adaptation to external conditions. Seeds of Ferula L. species require a certain temperature and environment for germination. It was found that freshly harvested seeds give good results at a temperature of 0 - +40 S. Experiments have shown that keeping seeds at 0 - +40 S gives good results in both monocarp species (F. helenae, F. samarkandica) and polycarp species (F. ovina, F. dshizakensis).
