In English, the preposition plays a significant role, acting as case determinants. A preposition indicates the grammatical dependence of a noun on other words and expresses the various relationships between them in a sentence. Prepositions are classified by form (simple, complex, and compound), meaning (prepositions of place, prepositions of direction, causal prepositions, and prepositions of time).
