FUEL INDUSTRY
The fuel industry includes the extraction of fuel raw materials and their delivery to the consumer. The fuel industry includes coal, oil, gas, peat, shale, uranium ore and timber.
Solar power plants, or solar power plants, in the United States, France, Spain, Japan, and Ukraine; geothermal power plants in the United States (Geyser station capacity 1 million / kW), Russia, the Philippines and Italy; take-off stations in France, Canada, Russia, China; wind power plants were built in the United States and Denmark.
Electricity is produced in all countries of the world. But there are only 13 countries that produce 100 billion kWh of electricity per year (USA, Russia, Japan, Canada, Germany, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, India, Poland, Norway). Uzbekistan spends $ 50 billion a year More than kWh of electricity is generated.
Norway (26,000 kWh), Canada (17,000 kWh), Sweden (14,000 kWh) and the United States (11,000 kWh) are the world's leading countries in terms of per capita electricity generation.
Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, France, Switzerland, Canada export electricity, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States import.
An association of large power stations that are involved in supplying electricity to consumers and are connected to each other by power lines and types is called an energy system. Power systems are divided into the following types: local (city, region), zonal (interregional), national (whole country) and international (for example, Central Asia) energy systems.
Thus, the energy industry is one of the most important sectors of the economy, the level of its development is associated with scientific and technological progress, the living standards of the population of different countries and regions.
The components of the energy industry are shown in the diagram.
PREPARATION
Fat has been a major source of fuel for thousands of years in the history of hungry humanity . As a result, many forests have been destroyed or the area has shrunk dramatically. After the transition to coal, oil, gas and other fuels, the use of wood as a fuel declined sharply. But now wood is still used as a fuel in both high mountainous areas, deserts, and equatorial-tropical regions (southern forest regions). Wood was the main fuel until the 16th century AD.
