FROM WEEKI WACHEE and BROOKSVILLE;

Follow S.R. 50 east of Brooksville nearly 6 miles. Turn right onto Spring Lake Hwy., a.k.a. C.R. 541. Go 6 miles south, turn right onto Dan Brown Hill Rd. where the "Entering Pasco County" sign is posted. Follow the Lakewood signs 2 miles to the office.

 

FROM U.S. 19, SUNCOAST PARKWAY, points west

Take County Line Rd. east to U.S. 41. Turn left and go north through Mazaryktown. Turn right onto Ayers Rd., a.k.a. C.R. 576 (just on the north edge of town) and go east. Ayers Rd. will convert to Hayman Rd. at the flashing red light, continue on Hayman Rd. When Hayman Rd. curves north, leave Hayman Rd. and take Dan Brown Hill Rd. to the right (south). Follow Dan Brown Hill Rd. 2 miles to the Lakewood entrance on the right. Come on in and go to the office.

Special Note:

To avoid the dirt section of Dan Brown Hill Rd south and east of camp, use C. R. 576 (Hayman Rd). The dirt road is often rough and either dusty or muddy. Pasco county plans to pave this section by or before 2017.

The alternate route 576 is approximately 4 miles north of Dan Brown Hill Rd on Hernando county route 541 (same road as Pasco county 41) Turn left (west) on 576. After about 4 miles, turn left (south) at the fork just after the 3 consecutive (left, right, left) curves. Take Dan Brown Hill Rd 2 miles and turn right into Lakewood Retreat at the entrance sign. Follow the entrance road ¼ mile to the office at the base of the hill. There is ample room to maneuver RV’s, buses, and trucks. Please stop at the office for further instructions before going into the campus.

Though all paved, the alternate route is about 8 miles longer. The lanes on 576 are narrow at 9’ wide and the road has many turns. Though a preferred route, please be careful on this road especially with RV’s, buses, and trucks which are generally 8 to 8-1/2’ wide.

FROM TAMPA and points south;

Follow I-75 north to exit #293. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp, going back over the interstate. Drive 2 miles north toward Brooksville on C.R. 41 (not U.S. 41) and turn left onto Dan Brown Hill Rd. where the "Entering Hernando County" sign is posted. Follow the Lakewood signs 2 miles to the office.

 

FROM OCALA and points north;

Follow I-75 south to exit #293. Turn left at the top of the exit ramp, going away from the interstate. Drive 2 miles north toward Brooksville on C.R. 41 (not U.S. 41) and turn left onto Dan Brown Hill Rd. where the "Entering Hernando County" sign is posted. Follow the Lakewood signs 2 miles to the office.

 

FROM ORLANDO and points east;

Follow S.R. 50 west toward Brooksville. Four miles after going under I-75, turn left on Spring Lake Hwy., a.k.a. C.R. 541. Go 6 miles south, turn right onto Dan Brown Hill Rd. where the "Entering Pasco County" sign is posted. Follow the Lakewood signs 2 miles to the office.

From There to Here
