Directions to HHS

 

From Jackson/I-40 East

• 
  Take Exit 66 onto U.S. 70 East.  Turn right.
  
• 
  Drive about 10 minutes until you get to the first traffic light in Brownsville.  Drive straight through the traffic light onto Main Street.  You will pass by a cemetery, a restaurant, the old Save-a-lot, and Delk’s Auto Body Shop.
  
• 
  Before the second traffic light, turn right onto Boyd Avenue. (You will see a HHS football schedule just past this street.) Once on Boyd, you will drive by the football stadium.
  
• 
  In front of Poplar Corner Baptist Church, turn left and drive over the railroad tracks.  Make an immediate right on College Street.
  
• 
  Drive less than ½ mile and you will see HHS.  Drive past the first driveway and the HHS sign.  Turn left into the second driveway.  Buses and cars may park in any of the parking lots.
  
• 
  Signs will be posted directing you to the Registration table by the Main Office.
  

 

From I-40 West

• 
  Take Exit 56 onto TN Hwy 76 North.  Drive by the fast food restaurants and stay on TN Hwy. 76 until you get to the four-way stop.
  
• 
  Drive straight through the 4-way stop onto Anderson Avenue.
  
• 
  Anderson Ave. ends at a traffic light in front of the Public Library.  Turn right onto Main Street.  Drive a few feet and make an immediate left turn onto Boyd Ave.
  
• 
  Once on Boyd, you will drive past the football stadium.
  

•

From Milan on U.S. 79

• 
  Take U.S. 79 South (U.S. 70A West).  You will drive through Gibson.  This city is a speed trap!  Drive the speed limit!
  
• 
  When you get to Humboldt’s first traffic light, turn right onto the 45W Bypass.  You will see a directional sign that points to Brownsville.  (This is also the US 70A/US79 Bypass but there are no traffic signs that state this at this intersection.)
  
• 
  Drive through the first traffic light and get into the left lane.  (The right lane will eventually force you to go right onto US 45W.)  Drive through the second traffic light and stay on the US 79/70A Bypass.
  
• 
  Stay on the US 79/70A Bypass until it ends.  You will see an exit ramp that goes to the right---Take this exit onto US 79 North/US 70A West.
  
• 
  You will drive through Gadsden and Bells.  Say on US 79 until you get to Brownsville.
  
• 
  When you get to the Brownsville city limits, you will notice a sign that says that you must turn left to stay on US 79/70A.  Go straight onto TN Hwy 369.  Drive by the Sugar Palace and the Hospital.  You will see Donnie Hatcher Chevrolet on the left.  Turn left onto College Street before you get to Donnie Hatcher.

  Go straight through the four way stop.  Turn right into the first driveway.  Buses and cars may park in any of the parking lots.
