We need to ask ourselves what are the best ways to improve the learning of foreign languages. There are many processes. An important factor today is globalization, related to the fact that travelling has become cheaper and faster. It is obvious that to improve our skills in foreign languages we have to use them all the time. But we won't improve our skills by staying at home and doing nothing about it.

Obviously the best way is to go abroad. But another question arises. What about those who can't go abroad? Yes, this question is connected with the question above. If someone can't go abroad, there are a number of ways to improve one's skills in learning foreign language.
It is commonly known that, if someone is interested in films, movies or watches a lot of TV programmes, he could or should watch them in the language he/she is trying to learn. It may sound silly but it is the fact that it helps a lot.
Another way to broaden our skills in the language is to listen to a lot of songs in the language we are interested in. It helps those whose skills in speaking or vocanulary are low or even less. The best way is to listen to and sing songs in those kinds of music we like.
The next way to improve one's language is to make use of newspaper or magazines. It is obvious that to make progress in improving the language we should make more use of newspapers, magazines and other authentic reading materials, such as brochures and leaflets. It is the best source of vocabulary and the best path to broaden our skills in reading.
Taking everything into account, I've presented ways to improve the learning of foreign languages. But obviously those ways are the best ones.
