   Text linguistics subject is a wide and comprehensive science. The researchers on text linguistics studied several researches. According to the theories and researches we can see the following trends in text linguistics. They are text grammar, text semantics, text stylistics and interpretation, text theory and text typology. In the text theory we see this subject as a complex science on what text linguistics is, the notion of this subject, its history, evolution, its fields, characters and connection of it with other subject. in text semantics we learn about deep and The text grammar gives information about the connection of words in a grammatical way. For example they can be linking words, conjunctions, using appropriate words. In short the usage of cohesion. In text semantics we learn internal and external meaning of the given word or text. Text typology studies the classification of text linguistics, text types. The last one is text stylistics and it learns about the text stylistically. I like text stylistics more. Because knowing and using the words in the oral or verbal form is important. Especially I really enjoy find differentiation of a one word meaning in different in fictional texts. This type help me to improve my imagination .

   Text category is the structure of content and formal expression. The types of text categories that are coherence, cohesion, informativity, situationality, modality, integrity. And also these text categories subdivided into semantic and structural fields. For example if the text is grammatically correct or not, formal or informal is –structural, semantical is when it is correct relating to meaning in language. However some linguists subdivide the text categories into optional and obligatory .in optional we study the image of authors, implicitness, emotiveness, imagery, intertextuality and in obligatory we learn informativity, modality, coherence ,cohesion. As obligatory is common fundament all type of text the optional is based on readers imagination and knowledge. For me optional approach more convenient as it is linked with text stylistics. So imagery category can be image referent, image agent and image basis. In this approach stylistic devices to help to represent it. For example metaphor, metonymy, simile alliteration, allusion alliteration etc.

   If we differentiate text and discourse text is a complex of a sentences that grammatically and logically created. Discourse is an interactive for everyone always a subject of information in speech or oral form texts. Linguistically and literary discourse is defined as a social event of communication . text and discourse contains sentences, words. However the difference is text is usually in a written form that is non interactive and discourse may be oral,verbal,visual according to the information.
