CHAPTER 4. LIFE SAFETY

This section of the final qualifying work addresses the issues of safe human life, which must be addressed at all stages of the life cycle.

Ensuring safe human life largely depends on the correct assessment of dangerous, harmful production factors. The severity of changes in the human body can be caused by various reasons. This may be any factors of the working environment, excessive physical and mental stress, neuro-emotional stress, as well as a different combination of these reasons.
The issues of safe life at the stage of development of a software package designed to control finished products for defects, diagnose and identify defects in working equipment by examining their spectral graphs.
Analysis of dangerous and harmful factors affecting the operator during the development of this system.
Hazardous and harmful production factors by nature of occurrence are divided into the following groups:
–Physical;
–Chemical;
–Psychophysiological;
- biological.
The following physical factors can negatively affect the operator in a laboratory room:
–– Increased and lowered air temperature;
–– excessive dustiness and gas contamination;
––Increased and reduced air humidity;
–– insufficient illumination of the workplace;
–– Exceeding permissible noise levels;
–– increased level of ionizing radiation;
––High level of electromagnetic fields;
––Increased level of static electricity;
–– risk of electric shock;
–– display screen fade.
Chemically hazardous factors that constantly act on the operator include the following:
- the occurrence, as a result of air ionization during computer operation, of active particles. There are no biological harmful production factors in this room.
Psychologically harmful factors affecting the operator during his work shift include the following:
-nervously
- emotional overload;
- mental stress;
-strain of the visual analyzer.
