Activity 1a Work in pairs. Ask and answer about television. 8 min Objectives: to introduce the topic; to create a friendly atmosphere STEP 1: Ask the pupils to think about their everyday activities, particularly, about time they spend watching TV.
STEP 2: Ask the pupils the following questions, encourage them to use the words in the cloud:
Do you like watching TV? What channels/ programmes do you like best? Why? What educational channels/programmes do you know?
