Ask them not to write long sentences. They can write a word or a phrase, e.g. in answer to question 3 they can write „By 
bus‟. 
Activity 2b Work in pairs. Ask your friend about his/her last weekend.

Ask the pupils to work in pairs. Explain that, first, one pupil asks the questions in activity 2a and the other answers, then 
they swap over.
