- to learn some geographical names in Uzbekistan; - to learn about the numbers over 1,000.

- to enable pupils to talk about the location of mountains, rivers, cities, etc. in Uzbekistan; - to enable pupils to 
transfer the info from the text into a table and vice versa; - to practise geographical names.
