Introduction
Nowadays, science is developing dynamically, there is an intensive exchange of information. Now that English has become the main means of international scientific communication, more and more scientists and specialists are not only aware of the need to read scientific literature in English, but also feel the need to express their ideas and results in English - at an international conference, on the pages of an international scientific journal, in a grant proposal or collaborative project.
As S.N. Gorelikova, now “The functional style of scientific and technical literature is of particular interest to linguists, since it extends to all sublanguages ​​of science and technology, both natural-technical and humanitarian, combined in a formal-logical way of presenting scientific and technical thought. A scientific description of modern languages ​​cannot be conceived without taking into account this style and its role in the life of society.
