Elektronic document development technologies. 
Nowadays most of the developing countries use traditional paper documents 
management system (DMS), but also the elektronic form of the documentation has 
increased including e-mails, web pages, and database packages, which have 
been stored in workstations and servers. For integrated data gathering in an 
institution or organization, elektronic document management system (EDMS) 
often becomes one of the most required tools for management. 
Ectronic Document Management System (EDMS) is a rapidly developing 
technology and is considered as the solution for organizations that needs a way to 
manage the information efficiently. EDMS applications focus on the control of 
elektronic documents throughout their entire life cycle, from creation to eventual 
archiving. Its functions include document creation, storage and retrieval, 
management, version control, workflow and multiple delivery formats. Document 
management is not a single entity or technology, but rather a combination of 
elements. It is the use of information and different users in a business process, 
combined with the technology that permits the interaction. 
Integrated Publishing System. 
Integrated Publishing System is a system created in 1982[citation needed] 
for publishing multilingual literature. 
The software was developed by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society on

an IBM mainframe computer using an Autologic typesetter. IPS was acquired by 
IBM, which intended to use the system to increase its hold on the publishing 
industry. 
Convergent Billing System. 
A convergent billing is the integration of all service charges onto a single 
customer invoice and a unified view of the customer. Customer should call a call 
center and should get complete account information for all the services opted. 
Customer receives a single bill and makes a single payment for all the services. 
Assume an operator is providing different services mobile voice, fixed 
voice, data, IPTV, broadband, pre-paid, and post-paid, etc. A customer can have 
one or more of these services from the same operator. A typical customer would 
definitely like to have single invoice and single view of his account. 
A truly Convergent Billing System should be able to consolidate any number 
and combination of products and services onto a single bill, regardless of the type 
of product and market segment, i.e., prepaid and postpaid services. 
Convergent billing would help operators in achieving the following major 
benefits :

Single product and service catalogue gives better time to market and reduced 
cost of implementation. 
2. A unified bill enables cross-service discounts, so that customers who order 
multiple services can receive preferential pricing. 
3. Convergent billing enables multi-service packaging and pricing, whereby 
existing customers are enticed to add new services and new customers are attracted 
by innovative service bundles. 
4. Centralized customer care and support for both type of customers ( pre-paid and 
post-paid). 
Another important parameter contributing in convergent billing is a single 
product and price catalogue for pre-paid as well as post-paid customers.
