In the third contribution, temesgen and colleagues discuss how the mainstream economicsparadigm contributes to global warming and requires a new ontological, epistemological andaxiological paradigm to address the environmental, economic and social problems we facetoday. To this end, they consult the conceptuality provided by ecological economics that caninform a genuine concept of circular economy (temesgen et al. 2021).With this special issue, our intention was to initiate more philosophical reflection in thisparticular emerging field in the philosophy of management domain. At the same time, thecollection of articles clearly shows that the philosophical reflection on this topic just started. Inaddition to the proposed research agenda, the various contributions lay out the ground forfurther philosophical reflections and discussions in the future. Thank you attention!!!
