EFFECTIVE STUDY HABITS
Students deal with many issues in their lives, and it’s hard to focus on reading because of all the competitive things that fit your attention. And if you are in school, you should at least do a little reading from year to year in order to improve.
If you want to get a better grade, you need more effective reading habits. The key to effective reading is smart learning, not compression or distance learning. You can start learning smart with these ten proven and effective learning habits.
HOW DO YOU APPROACH TO STUDYING ISSUES.
Many people see reading as a necessary task, not an opportunity to enjoy or learn. That's fine, but researchers have found that the closer you get to almost anything, the closer you get to something. It is important to have the right mindset for smart learning.
Sometimes you can’t “force” yourself to be right-minded, and at times like that, you just have to avoid reading. If you are distracted by a relationship issue, an upcoming game, or completing an important project, then reading will simply be a frustrating exercise. When you don’t focus (or bother) on something else happening in your life, go back to it.
Ways to help you improve your reading outlook:
Aim to think positively as you read, and be reminded of your skills and abilities.
Avoid destructive thinking. Instead of thinking, "I'm messy, I'll never find enough time to study for this exam," look at him like, "I can be a little late to study as much as I want, but I'm doing it now, I'm doing most of it."
Absolutely avoid thinking. Instead of thinking, "I'm always messing things up," say, "I didn't work so well at the time. What should I do?" An objective look.
Avoid comparing yourself to others because you usually feel bad about yourself. Your skills and abilities are yours and you are alone.
WHERE YOU STUDY IS IMPORTANT.
Many people make the mistake of reading in a place that doesn’t really help them concentrate. A place that distracts a lot creates a bad place to read. For example, if you are experimenting and reading in your bedroom, a computer, television, or reading material that your roommate wants to digest may be more interesting.
There are good places to see a library, a student lounge, or a corner in the reading room or a quiet cafe. Make sure you choose quiet places in these places, not loud, central meeting places. Explore a few places on and off campus, just don’t find the first one “good enough” for your needs and habits. Finding the ideal place to study is crucial because you can be sure of that in the next few years.
