Realism writers

It is an artistic and literary movement which was started in 19th century in France. It gives emphasis on Artists and authors to struggle for the comprehensive realistic and actual representation of incidents and actions. They have to represent all the events, incidents and social circumstances as they are in real way without showing any idealization. Abrams(1985) had written a work “Eleven months in Bun bury” in which he has tried to highlight the characteristics of realism. This work deals with text and its representation of real life, social life that represent real life, social norms. It tries to evoke such Characters who are lifelike and 'feel' like real masses .they might exist in real life situations and might happen in the real life. Selden (1993) suggests that social realism is an attempt of representation of literature as it can be named a unified unity of written and spoken discourse. Valentine (1999) defines social realism as it is movement which can be privileged by the Content, its forms and having an easy access to readers. Wilding (1993) examines that social realism lies on its peak as it is assigned to characteristic area of literature because it is such text that people Are not really willing to read. On contrary a type of literature which is designed to attract and seduce the general public.⁴
Reid (1979) defended that with the help realist novel we can highlight foundations of lives and living structure are assembled in rational way and it is displayed faithfully. These are also are, representation of intended confinement and called as physical entrap mentation. This is called vital connection in the history of imagination and past. Zeno (1994) defines that a lot of Urdu progressive literary writing are characterized with blend form of realism as well as social criticism but there are some writers whore presented their beliefs boldly by exposing the bitter realities of society.
