Based on the foregoing, the following conclusions can be drawn: approaches to the
protection of electronic document flow should be comprehensive, it is necessary to assess the
possible threats and risks of the EDMS and the amount of possible losses from the realized
threats. As already mentioned, the protection of the EDMS is not limited only to the protection
of documents and the delimitation of access to them. The issues of protecting the system
hardware, personal computers, printers and other devices remain; protection of the network
environment in which the system operates, protection of data transmission channels and
network equipment, it is possible to separate the EDMS into a special network segment. A set
of organizational measures plays a role at each level of protection, it includes both instruction
and training of ordinary personnel to work with confidential information. A special part of the
organizational measures is to highlight changes in job descriptions, instructions on the use of
means of active and passive protection of confidential information, routine work with
personnel, and features of the work of a security administrator. Unfortunately, organizational
measures for the protection of confidential information, along with technical means of
information, are often overshadowed, which in electronic document flow is an integral part of
the organization's information security.
