The world is increasingly evolving day by day; even the outlook of the people is developing. People are becoming more involved in innovative technology now. The lessons of the prior traditional method are considered boring even in the classroom. Therefore, it is beneficial to teach English through applications to draw the students 'attention to the lesson. This paper narrows the emphasis down to one of “Duolingo's” mobile language learning apps and discusses the possibilities this software provides for second language learning.

For use the app, learners need to download and install it from Google Play on their Android or IOS devices. Upon choosing which language the learners want to know, the app asks them to "select a regular target" from the list that appears before them. When the learner is new to the language, the basics start. It is fair to assume that “Duolingo” is a very simple and user friendly app. The learner will go straight into their first lesson by tapping Start without any more questions or even registration for the course. The activities are of several different types:

“Duolingo” is an app, which is intelligent. For instance, if learners type, "I'm not a teacher" instead of "I'm not a teacher" in a translation exercise, the app will know this is a typo and not a mistake. Learners will pass the exercise but will be reminded of the typographic error in their responses. When learners make a mistake in the new language, “Duolingo” will show them where they made the mistake but they will have to figure out the rule themselves.

“Duolingo” provides a skill tree of lessons using listening drills, flashcards and questions with multiple choices to test you on new vocabulary, phrases and phrases. Most issues include a comment thread in which users will address a particular problem in depth. In addition, the service has community features that allow you to communicate with other people who learn the same language you are.
