EXTRA ACTIVITY
Ask students, in pairs, to try to make a list of all the
countries that share a border with Brazil. Give
them two minutes or make it a race. Alternatively,
provide them with a map showing only the outlines
of the countries in South America for them to fill in.
To extend the activity, go through the answers
(using the map in the front of the book or an atlas
if possible) before asking students to write down
all the countries’ capitals.
