ANSWERS
The only prize I ever won was a pair of wireless earbuds. And the funniest thing that I got this prize in a giveaway contest on Instagram. I'm saying 'funniest' because I used to roll my eyes at those who entered giveaways and sweepstakes.
I thought it was just a waste of time because I was convinced that brands and bloggers create giveaways just to increase the number of followers, but never give prizes. I mean I thought winners weren't picked at random. I thought they announced winners just for show. But, in fact, the whole thing was fixed from the start.
However, during the lockdown it was so boring to stay home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week that I decided to enter a giveaway contest.
There's a tech blogger who constantly posts some of the coolest tech and gadget updates on his Instagram. And back then I noticed that he announced a giveaway contest. By that moment, I had been following him on Instagram for quite a while. Moreover, I saw the little blue checkmark next to his IG account name, which meant the account was officially verified by Instagram. So I said to myself 'You've got nothing to lose.
All I had to do was to post a video or picture on social media using a contest hashtag and then wait for a few weeks.
To be honest, I didn't expect to win anything. I even forgot about the giveaway. So I was totally happy when I found out that I won such a great prize.
Describe a family (not your own) that you like
You should say:
whose family this is
where they live
who are the family members
why you like this family
