We are happy to inform you that the deadlines for registration to the DIG2015 have been moved forward.

The new deadline for registration with abstract submission is 15 April
-
Later registrations will be accepted until 30 April, but we cannot guarantee that these later submissions will get space for a paper presentation.
Here are some details again:
5-8 June Micromorphology Workshop (Dept. of Chemical and Geological Sciences, Cagliari University
9-12 June DIG2015 (Sassari University at Alghero, Department of Architecture and Design).
DIG 2015 is a conference of the Developing International Geoarchaeology (DIG) (http://www.developinginternationalgeoarchaeology.org/first.html), the title of a series of very successful international conferences aiming at bringing together a wide variety of international researchers and students in this interdisciplinary field in order to facilitate discussion, stimulate research, and promote international scholarship.
Excursions

On 8 June, just before DIG2015, there will be a half day excursion to the site of Fordongianus (http://www.forumtraiani.it).

The DIG2015 conference will be followed by another excursion to the Phoenician-Punic-Roman site of Tharros (see http://www.tharros.info/ViewSites.php?cat=100&lng=it and http://www.sardegnacultura.it/j/v/253?s=21268&v=2&c=2489&c1=2125&t=1 ) and we will visit the field site of the finding of the “Giants of Mont’e Prama” (http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/17/giants-of-monte-prama-sardinian-sculptures-display ), and the Giants themselves on display of Cabras Museum (http://www.comunedicabras.it/vivi-cabras/museo-e-area-archeologica-di-tharros/index.aspx?m=53&did=285 )

DIG 2015 Presentations
Abstract submissions are still being accepted for oral and poster presentations. Submissions should include a title, name and affiliation of author(s), contact address of corresponding author, and an abstract of not more than 600 words length. Please indicate whether you prefer an oral or a poster presentation. We will try to respect your preference, but may not be able to do so; you will be informed at a future date of whether your presentation will be scheduled as oral or poster. Presentations concerning any aspect of geoarchaeology are welcome. Abstracts can be submitted to: dig2015submissions@gmail.com.
