Topic” CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS”. Aim by the end of the lesson: the students will be able to name the country in the UK they would like to visit and the reason of their interest.
Objectives:-the students will study the names of the countries the UK consists of;
-the students will revise lexis and make up derivatives out of the core word;
-the students will make up questions and answer them using the future tenses
-the students will present information about different customs in the UK;
-the students will name the tradition they like best and the reason of their choice.
Language skills:-speaking
-asking and answering questions
Lexical material:-names of the countries, names of traditional food and drinks in Britain.

Warming up

Making derivatives.

Today we are going to speak about British customs and traditions. Firstly we shall revise our lexical and grammar rules, practice asking and answering questions on the topic.
