Section 22d
1. In its judgment in which community service is imposed, the court shall order the imposition of
default detention in the event the convicted offender fails to satisfactorily complete the community
service.
2. The term of the default detention shall be set in whole days, weeks or months.
3. The term of the default detention shall amount to a minimum of one day and a maximum of four
months. A maximum of one day shall be imposed for each two hours of community service.
4. Where a part of the community service has been completed, the term of the default detention shall
be reduced proportionately. If as a result of this reduction, default detention would have to be
served for a part of a day, the number of days shall be rounded up to the nearest amount of whole
days.
Section 22e
The Public Prosecution Service may request progress reports on the performance of the work imposed
under the community service order from bodies or persons working in the field of probation under rules
to be set by Governmental Decree. Section 147(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure shall apply
mutatis mutandis.
