1. Any person who intentionally deprives or continues to deprive another person unlawfully of his
liberty shall be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding eight years or
a fine of the fifth
category.
2. If the offence results in grievous bodily harm, the offender shall be liable
to a term of imprisonment
not exceeding nine years or a fine of the fifth category.
3. If the
offence results in death, he shall be liable to a term of imprisonment
not exceeding twelve
years or a fine of the fifth category.
4. The punishments prescribed in this section shall also apply to a person who intentionally provides
a place for the purpose of such unlawful deprivation of liberty.
