ext4: space where all files will be stored.
swap: an additional space (for safety) which is used when your Raspberry Pi OS consumes too much RAM.


Install GRUB boot loader
After partitioning your disk, the installation wizard will ask you if you want to install the GRUB boot loader on your newly created hard drive.

Select ‘Yes’ and then choose the device starting with ‘/dev/sda’ and then click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.

Once, the installation is finished, your Raspberry Pi OS Desktop is launched (rebooted) automatically. Otherwise, you may always start it from the virtual box main window.
You will see a GRUB menu, which will ask you to launch your preferred OS. Your Raspberry Pi OS (Desktop) is shown as “Debian GNU/Linux”, which will be launched either automatically or by pressing ‘Enter’.
After that, you will see dialogue boxes asking for configuration of your Raspberry Pi OS. You will have to do the following things:
Choose a country, language, time-zone, keyboard configuration.
Create a Raspberry Pi account (username and password).
Update software with latest available versions.
Once done with all the above settings, the final desktop screen of your Raspberry Pi OS will be visible to you after you ‘Restart’ your pi.

Writing and running your first program in Raspbian OS
Open ‘Geany’ editor in your Raspbian OS and create a ‘.cpp’ file with the following code in it.

Compile, build, and run your code in the editor. The output will be shown in a console window (like terminal or command prompt window).
Tasks:
You must submit a report including screenshots of virtual box and raspberry pi OS desktop, after installation, and the screenshot of editor (containing the code) and output window (showing the output) after running your first program on Raspbian OS. [10 marks]
