In these regards, Chapter 6 presents impact of microbial activity on geochemical stability of Cu-slags. 
The  experimental  conditions  were  designed  such  that  the  experiments  simulate  column-like  set-up 
with the solution residence time of 14 days. Bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa has deliberately been 
employed  due  to  its  common  presence  in  various  environmental  components  that  makes  this  specie 
ideally suited as weathering agent.
