conditions. Meanwhile, some experts suggest that motivation can be more effectively

Both of these views represent content views of motivation. The former asserts that
motivation is a function of pay, working hours, and working conditions; the latter
suggests that autonomy and responsibility are the causes of motivation. Two widely
known content perspectives on motivation are the needs hierarchy and the two-factor
theory.
