In this work, we discuss our results by performing content analysis. Below, 
we provide extracts and observations from the final exam papers for the CR 
samples to crystalize how our CR intervention improves academic performance 
based on our grading rubric 
The object of the master's dissertation; 
This master‘s dissertation will address the importance of considering 
language and writing as social action within particular contexts as well as the 
crucial move of understanding intercultural communication as an act of interaction 
and accommodation between native and non-native speakers-not one of assimi-
lation by non-native English speakers.

Aim and tasks of the master's dissertation; 
The aim of this study is to investigate the rhetorical features that EFL students 
transfer in their expository writings in English. The influence of gender and 
effectiveness of raising the students' awareness of the importance of rhetoric in 
writing and the cultural, rhetorical. 
Given the influences and impacts outlined, this master‘s dissertation 
continues the exploration of ongoing developments and possible future directions 
of intercultural rhetoric. The master‘s dissertation will show how intercultural 
rhetoric contributes to the study of language and discourse by bringing in 
interactional studies, fore-fronting the multiplicity of texts, and studying both from 
a non-essentialist perspective. Intercultural rhetoric takes us away from binary 
distinctions such as linear and non-linear writing and individualist and collectivist 
cultures. 
This master‘s dissertation has three main aims:
(1) to show what is worth keeping of the traditional approach of cross-
cultural text analysis;
(2) to establish what new approaches are needed to develop a better 
understanding of culture, what writing means, and how language norms are 
changing;
(3) to envision what a new theory of intercultural rhetoric would look like 
once Goals 1 and 2 are realized.
