INTRODUCTION
This philosophical tenet serves as the foundation for the National Program of Personnel Training. The country's strategy for educating the next generation with a strong general
and professional culture, creative and social activity, and problem-solving abilities is launched as a priority in this program. The younger generation has to learn the knowledge that the world's civilization has amassed, but it is clear that this will be impossible without a working knowledge of foreign languages. As the majority of the world's
intellectual, scientific, and technological knowledge is provided in English, English is growing in popularity in Uzbekistan.
For
this reason, communicative language training focuses on helping students complete specific language functions or tasks, such as greeting,
introducing themselves, expressing likes and dislikes, finding out someone's interests or hobbies, or asking for directions. Actually, what you want to accomplish with language is extremely specific.
Today,
we have fantastic options, particularly in private schools and language schools.
ng this thesis or any other publication on methodology, one cannot say which method is the best or the worst. As Kenneth T. Henson claims, usually the methods
are better for some purpose, e.g. understanding, transfer, but there is no method simply the best for everything [14; 155].
I agree with the opinion of Michael J Wallace who believes that a central factor in the choice of methods is the learners’
needs and characters; something works for one person well, but the same method might not work at all for another person. I tried to use a variety of methods in my thesis, and watch what makes the method more effective [14; 155].
So
the theme of our course paper is advantages and disadvantages of traditional method.
Language came into life as a means of communication. It exists and is alive only through speech. When we speak about teaching a foreign language, we first of all have in mind teaching it as a means of communication. So because of that we can say that the
actualization of our work is highly demanding.
In the given work we tried to explain that represents the communicative approach
and student centered lessons
