The aim of the research: is to study the methodology for conducting an intermediate control of knowledge and skills of students in oral speech. This topic is very relevant, as students need constant monitoring of their knowledge.
Thе tasks of the research: stimulates learning activities, increases motivation for learning, shows progress in learning;
- makes him study more diligently in case of failures, makes adjustments to his educational activities.
The content of teaching foreign languages ​​in secondary school implements its main goals aimed at developing a culture of communication among schoolchildren in the process of forming all components of foreign language communicative competence.
These competencies involve the formation of both purely linguistic skills (lexical, phonetic, grammatical) and their normative use in oral and written speech. The proposed topics, texts, problems, speech tasks are focused on the formation of various types of speech activity (speaking, reading, listening, writing), the development of sociocultural skills and abilities, which ensures the use of a foreign language (FL) as a means of communication, education and self-education.
Thеsubjесtоf the research is the peculiarities of using collaborative activities in teaching English in modern classroom.
The objectives of this course work are: analysis of the value of control of knowledge and skills of students; identification of the main factors of motivation; study of the process of preparing and conducting intermediate control; allocation of the main control functions.
Thерrасtiсаl significance оf the rеsеаrсh: The results of the current course work can be applied in the sphere of teaching foreign languages. It can be used at the courses of listening and speaking, in writing course papers and scientific articles on the theme of investigation, broadening students` outlook and for better understanding the language means and for further investigation of collaborative learning.
