Change of Name of Practitioners

1. 
A practitioner who has changed his or her name, whether on marriage 
or otherwise, will be permitted to re-subscribe the roll on proving the 
change of name to the satisfaction of the Master. 
2. 
The application should be made by affidavit exhibiting the relevant 
certificate.

The Appointment of Senior Counsel in Western 
Australia

Objects 
1. 
The purpose of this Practice Direction is to establish a revised procedure 
for the appointment of Senior Counsel in the State of Western Australia. 
2. 
The office of Senior Counsel is continued by this Practice Direction. The 
office furthers the administration of justice in Western Australia by 
recognising those counsel who are of outstanding ability and who are 
dedicated to the pursuit of justice. 
Appointor 
3. 
Appointment to the office of Senior Counsel shall be by the Chief Justice 
on behalf of the Court.
