Summary
: The scientific article proposes a new sorting technology for sorting granular heavy and light industrial products,
including granular food raw materials by weight and size, and a new sorting device at the inventive level to perform the technological
process.
The structure, working principle, technological and kinematic scheme of this device were analyzed and studied. At the same
time, a mathematical model was developed and other studies were carried out depending on the design parameters (K) of the granular
material sorting device, the linear velocity of the sorting belt (V) and the productivity of the sorting hopper (Q).
The test model of the proposed plant for sorting granular materials was applied to production at "Vakiloglu" LLC, and it was
determined that one unit would give an economic benefit of 45 manat (23,760 manat per year).

Given the urgency of sorting granular materials in heavy and light industry enterprises, as well as in the
agricultural sector and the lack of known equipment for their sorting - low technological and economic capabilities, we
have developed a new sorting device with great technological and economic capabilities.
As a result of the analytical studies, it became clear that the sorting operation and the impossibility of dividing
the products into several equal parts during the use of the sorters currently in use should be especially noted in this regard.
The results of theoretical and experimental research conducted to improve the technological, economic and operational
performance of the devices currently used in this area lead to the conclusion that ensuring the universality of sorting
devices - in other words, different shapes, physical-mechanical, mass-measurement characteristics of the same device use
of products obtained in the production of granular (fluidity) heavy and light industrial products, as well as food raw
materials should be ensured.
The urgency of sorting granular food raw materials by size [1… 5] in various forms of processing in heavy and
light industrial enterprises and markets as a product for various purposes, as a sowing material, as well as the use of these
raw materials in the form and size required for various confectionery products is of great importance.
The technological capability of the proposed device is that it has a simple design, easy operation, as well as the
ability to use it in the sorting of various food raw materials by making adjustments on it in a short time. Thus, by making
a small adjustment in the device, you can remove small beans, large peas or larger hazelnut kernels, etc. from it. each can
be divided into three fractions. The technological capabilities of the device do not preclude its use in the sorting of other
liquid food raw materials, as well as some mechanical engineering products.
Conclusion
As a result of experimental research carried out in connection with the development of the proposed device, in
order to improve the quality of grain grading, we have:
- a sorting device consisting of a sorting board with high technological, economic and operational parameters,
the main element of which can be installed horizontally at different sharp angles, with easily adjustable slits;
- a transfer mechanism has been developed to increase the quality and productivity of sorting;
- A new methodology has been developed to assess the quality of sorting.
One of the main working bodies of the developed grain sorting device is the belt conveyor. Which has a greater
specific gravity among the items used in the sorter. Given the fact that belt conveyors are now also used in the sorting of
various granular food raw materials with fluidity, their relevance is even more pronounced.
The difference between the proposed new belt sorter and the known analogues used in this field is to improve
the quality of sorting of raw materials during the movement of complex geometric shapes and parametric granular
materials on the openings on the sorter sorter plate. The simple structure, easy working principle, as well as the possibility
of production in medium-sized machine-building enterprises show that the equipment for sorting granular food raw
materials is highly competitive.
