Abstract.
It is shown that technical condition of bridges, tunnels and other objects of railroad tracks is controlled at “certain 
intervals”, since “continuous control” of objects of all hauls of the track is practically impossible. The authors consider one of the 
possible options for “continuous” monitoring the beginning of changes in the technical condition of the communication route by means 
of noise technologies, which allow, by analyzing the useful signal and the noise from the vibrations caused by the impact of the rolling 
stock, to form informative attributes for identifying their technical condition. The application of traditional technologies of correlation 
and spectral analysis and other methods of analysis for this purpose does not allow ensuring adequacy of the results of control due to 
the effects of the noise on vibration signals. For this reason, the authors propose a technology for extracting and analyzing the useful 
vibration signal and the noise, as well as calculating the cross-correlation function between them. The estimates of characteristics of 
the useful signal and the noise here are used as main carriers of diagnostic information. The simplicity and reliability of implementation 
of the proposed tools allows easily installing them on all objects of the track, ensuring the control of the beginning of changes in their 
technical condition in real time during the movement of the rolling stock.
