Conclusion
On the graduation paper of the listener Shokirova Muqaddas on the theme “Developing an assessment tool by the technique “Hand Held Response Cards” for improvement of listening and thinking abilities of the learners”

The certain graduation paper is devoted to the applying “Hand Held Response Cards” to the classroom which could help to improve language skills. The researcher tried to identify the role of “Hand Held Response Cards” in teaching listening skills and reached the answers to the research questions by searching some principles and activities by applying interactive techniques to teaching language.


The graduation paper consists of introduction, four chapters and the list of used literatures. Furthermore, the research is based on general reasons for applying respond cards to the assessment of listening and thinking abilities.
The actuality of this work is the exploration the advantages of the interactive techniques in teaching listening as it is significant part of communication process.
The aim of the paper is searching the effective ways of using the technique “Hand Held Response Cards” in improving listening and thinking skills of the students on the base of created lesson plan.
The paper is well structured and contains all necessary components. Well written main part, which mostly includes international authors’ ideas, allows the author to relate theory to practice throughout the paper. Secondary according to the theme he searched different strategies for teaching listening skills.
As a whole the work on the theme “Developing an assessment tool by the technique “Hand Held Response Cards” for improvement of listening and thinking abilities of the learners” is considered as a fully finished research and the listener can be recommended to defense.

On the graduation paper entitled “Developing an assessment tool by the technique “Hand Held Response Cards” for improvement of listening and thinking abilities of the learners” written by Shokirova Muqaddas under the supervision of R.G. Karimov
Given graduation paper focuses on the importance of applying Hand Held Response Cards into language teaching which help students to learn language effectively and to assess them quickly. The researcher discusses the effectiveness of content and reaches the answers to the research questions by searching some principles and activities for the improving listening and thinking abilities skills. The researcher tried to do the following investigation tasks:

  • To work with the related literature on teaching listening and improving thinking ability of the learner;

  • To study the ways of usage response cards into the lesson in improving listening skills;

  • To write a lesson plan and conduct a survey on the usage of technique “Hand Held Response Cards”;

  • To give the results of the microteaching by discussion the research questions.

The graduation paper consists of 4 chapters, and references. Furthermore, the research is based on general techniques of teaching and assessing listening skills by applying interactive techniques that provided in the main part of the present graduation paper.
The data, presented in research, is relevant, meaningful and supportive of the author’s conclusion. The researcher’s style is consistent and appropriate for the reader. Throughout the paper, she illustrates an appropriate level of critical thinking, and the paper clearly reflects depth, breadth, and accuracy of the author’s thought process. Though there are some spelling and grammar mistakes, I think the work is eligible for Graduation Paper and is recommended for defense.
