to the Regulations to prepare for and hold the 3rd International Competition of ballet dancers in Astana
Competitors’ Performance Programme
Soloists:
Round 1:
a) Two variations from classical ballets listed in the Obligatory Programme of the Competition.
Round 2:
a) One variation from classical ballets.
b) A contemporary piece or fragment from a ballet, staged not earlier than 2009.The running time shall not exceed 5 minutes.
Round 3:
Two variations from classical ballets.
Duets:
Round 1:
One Pasdedeux from classical ballets listed in the Obligatory Programme of the Competition.
Round 2:
a) One Pasdedeux from classical ballets.
b) A contemporary piece or fragment from a ballet, staged not earlier than 2009.A contemporary piece (or a fragment from a ballet), performed by participants in Round 2 can be a duet or solo, i.e.separate for partners. The duet shall not exceed 7 minutes. In case participants perform a contemporary piece separately, the running time of their performance shall not exceed 5 minutes.
Each piece can be performed in one round only.
Round 3:
a) One Pasdedeux from classical ballets.
