Child Advocacy Framework Form (AF) - Keep it updated - Needed for Attorney Meeting

Meeting with GAL Attorney – This meeting takes place approximately 1 month before your Judicial Review. Your Volunteer Supervisor will e-mail you as to the exact time and date. You must email and/or bring the most recently updated Child Advocacy form to the meeting. Your Volunteer supervisor will also be present. The purpose of this meeting is to assist you in coordinating the information you will need to write your Judicial Review, make sure everyone has the same goals, and insure that nothing is being overlooked in our effort to find permanency for the children.

Judicial Review - This is a court proceeding that takes place approximately every 6 months. You will be required to submit your JR document at least 2 weeks prior to the court date. It is to be e-mailed to your Volunteer Supervisor. Please be aware that your Volunteer Supervisor may make some changes to the report prior to forwarding it to your GAL Attorney who also may make some changes. If you are not available to sign this document it will be signed for you and the final copy will be forwarded to you and the court prior to the JR date.
