tual because multiple instances of this service share the same Ethernet broadcast domain 

virtually. However, each connection is independent and isolated from the others in the 

network. A dynamic, “learned” relationship exists between an attachment-virtual circuit 

and emulated virtual circuits, which is determined by the customer’s MAC address.

In this type of network, the customer manages its own routing protocols. One advantage
