CAREER HISTORY:

Jan- July 2010 Upper Keys Sailing Club – Head Coach Key Largo, FL

• 
  Developed an instructional curriculum for the sailing team to revamp and market their club’s program. Coached group and private lessons in Lasers and Optimists. Equipped students for Nationals 2010.
  

Jan- July 2010 West Marine – Sales Associate Key Largo, FL

• 
  Responsible for sales in the sailing and water sports departments. Helped contribute to a 15% in sales increase from Fiscal Year 2009 -2010. Praised for excellent customer service. Opened and closed the store. Helped to oversee the cash flow and review inventory, stock the store, order and place product. Fulfilled custom splicing orders and electronic installations.

  Construction and design related to marketing for corporate events. Built staging and sets for audio visual equipment and implemented the designs of graphic artists.

• Restructured program objectives to groom sailors for peak performance and ensure active parent involvement. Created standards to measure progress in order to stimulate and motivate students while allowing transparency of the program.

  Organized a presentation with key note speaker Robbie Haines from the movie Morning Light, to further motivate and inspire students.
  

Sept 06-May 08 Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation- Youth Sailing Director Tampa, FL

  Exceeded performance and recruitment goals each year and expanded the Optimist program from ten students to forty five.

  Managed six (6) full time sailing Instructors and a fully booked summer learn-to-sail program.

  Performance Accomplishments: Coached nine (9) sailors who qualified for international regattas including the European Team, US. National Team and the US Development Team. In 2007 students placed 1^st and 4^th in Laser Radials and, 3^rd C420 at Youth Championships. Students from the program continued on at Plant High and placed 3^rd at Team Racing Nationals, 5^th at Fleet Racing Nationals.

  Recruited and coached a team of High school students in 420’s and Lasers.

  Coordinated relationships with other programs, which helped promote the growth and performance at the regional and international levels.
