Have a whale of time [Adverb] (have a good time).
We all had a whale of time at the party.
I went to London when I was 22 and I had a whale of time.
Absorbed in [Adjective] (to be very interested in something and do not notice anything else).
He was completely absorbed in his work. She was absorbed in the book.
Pleasurable [Adjective] (enjoyable; pleasant). Eating out can be a very pleasurable experience. This silk shirt feels very pleasurable on my skin.
In favor of [Expression] (to support or approve of something).
We are not in favor of hitting children. He is in favor of stopping work.
Lost the habit [Verb] (stopped an activity that you used to do often). I lost the habit of writing with hand after having got used to keyboard. Most of us have lost the habit of reading newspapers.
Laziness [Noun] (the quality of being unwilling to be active (do not want to work or make any effort)).
The primary cause of Tom's failure is his laziness. We scolded her for her laziness.
Enjoyable [Adjective] (giving delight or pleasure).
We had a most enjoyable evening. Life is fine and enjoyable.
The teacher always tries to make her lessons enjoyable.
Amusement park = a theme park = funfair [Noun] (an outdoor area for entertainment where people pay money to go on rides and play games to win
prizes).
The kids had a good time at the amusement park. There's an amusement park planned on the grounds. She likes pink cotton candy in an amusement park.
Slot machine [Noun] (a machine that you put coins into to play gambling games).
His coins all slotted into the slot machine.
My daughter really loved the sound of dice and slot machines.
