To fall by the wayside [Expression] (if something falls by the wayside, it fails to continue/ people stop doing it).
Many clubs fall by the wayside for financial reasons. Luxury items fall by the wayside during a recession. Flawless [Adjective] (perfect, without defects or faults).
All the stones are flawless and of the finest quality.
He can't help noticing her flawless beauty.
Force [Verb] (to use physical strength, or power to make somebody do something that they do not want to do).
He was forced to take the exam again, because he failed last month. After seeing the evidence, he was forced to admit his error.
Far and wide [Expression] (over a large area).
He ranges far and wide in search of inspiration for his paintings. People came from far and wide to see the concert.
Fierce competition [Noun] (strong competition/ tough competition.)
Graduates face fierce competition in getting jobs.
Small grocery stores face very fierce competition from the large supermarket chains.
Fake [Adjective] (not genuine; counterfeit (in order to trick people)).
The child was wearing fake fangs to go with his vampire costume. He bought a fake diamond ring for his girlfriend at the fair for a joke. Fool around [Verb] (to behave in a silly way for fun).
Don't fool around with matches.
You shouldn't fool around with dangerous chemicals.
To fuel [Verb] (to make something increase or stronger). Lower interest rates have fuelled a housing boom in the country. Salary increases and high food prices fuelled inflation last year.

Go out of one’s way (to do something) [Expression] (to make a special effort to do something).
Sarah really went out of her way to make me feel welcome. Tom went out of his way to be friendly/kind.
Glossy: [Adjective] (smooth and shiny, so as to look real and attractive).
She has glossy black hair. My cat has glossy black fur.
We commit to providing customers with outstanding service.
Get through [Expression] (to successfully deal with a problem or overcome a difficulty).
There are too many items on the agenda for the meeting to get through.
It took me about an hour to get through customs at the airport when I got home from my holidays.
Gratitude [Noun] (the feeling of being thankful or grateful).
She felt gratitude for the gifts that poured down upon her. His heart was filled with gratitude.
