Art. 12 - Place of Jurisdiction 

In case of any dispute, the Court of Catania, Italy, 

shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For all matters 

not expressly provided for in this contract, the 

parties refer to the provisions of the current civil 

code. 

 

Art. 13 - Provided pursuant to art. 13 of the 

European General Data Protection Regulation 

2016/679 (GDPR)  

We kindly inform you that provided pursuant 

to art. 13 of the European General Data 

Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and 

the Legislative Decree n. 196 (June 20, 2003) 

“Code with regard to the protection of 

personal data”, the collected personal 

information, by other means, even in the 

future, will be processed by us as "Owner", 

also with the aid of electronic and / or 

automated means and always in full 

compliance with applicable legislation, for the 

following purposes of the processing:- 

Institutional activities of Diplomatici: 

Diplomatici can collect your personal data 

entered in the process of your online/paper 

registration; it can indeed, process your 

personal information with the aim of 

establishing the enrollment report for other 

promoted training courses; - Online marketing 

of our training courses, in-depth courses and 

postgraduate courses promoted by 

Diplomatici and the Eastwest European 

Institute;  -  Accounting and administrative 

activities relating the proper keeping of 

mandatory records by law, or to the fulfillment 

of provisions of public authorities and 

supervisory bodies responsible for 

investigations. The provision of personal data 

is: a) mandatory for the purposes stated by this 

contract and to allow the student's 

participation to the above mentioned 

program; b) optional, for what concerns 

Diplomatici’s promotional materials relating to 

future programs and training activities. Any 

refusal to provide personal data as per letter a) 

makes it impossible to set the agreement, 

while the refusal to provide consent for 

promotional purposes does not represent an 

obstacle to this agreement nor to the Student’s 

participation to the program. 

Personal data, kept with care and 

confidentiality,  may be disclosed, for the 

purpose of the execution of the program 

selected by the Student or to fulfill the 

Student’s specific requests, to commercial 

partners, as well as to companies that provide 

the services requested by the Student, or that 

provide assistance in accounting, 

administrative, legal, tax and financial matters 

relating to the execution of the chosen 

program, ensuring adequate guarantees. 

Diplomatici, in its role of data controller, 

guarantees the rights established by the 

Articles 15,16,17,18,20,21 and 22 of the EU 

Regulation n.679 / 2016. To exercise the rights 

referred to in Articles. 15,16,17,18,20,21 and 

22 of the EU Regulation n.679 / 2016, the 

interested party must send a request to the 

Diplomatici’s registered office, and also has the 

right to appeal to the Data Protection Officer.
