INTRODUCTION (abstract of the thesis of the doctor of philosophy) 
The aim of the research
is to determine the scientific, theoretical and practical 
aspects of the moral and aesthetic education of students through the organization and 
conduct of sports events, as well as to develop guidelines for their implementation 
in practice. 
The object of the research
is a pedagogical process aimed at moral and 
aesthetic education of students through the organization and conduct of sports 
holidays, involving a total of 458 students from Bukhara, Andijan and Samarkand 
state universities. 
The scientific novelty of the research
is as follows: 
the motivational-emotional, substantive, activity stages of the content of the 
pedagogical process, aimed at the moral and aesthetic education of students in the 
organization and holding of sports events, on the basis of ensuring their continuity 
with the health-improving, developing, nurturing components of physical culture 
were improved; 
on the basis of giving priority to such interactive methods as discussion, 
dramafon, business game, work in small groups, finding one's place, game portfolio, 
mass, collective, group forms of moral and aesthetic education of students were 
improved when organizing and conducting national sports holidays "Universiade" , 
“Come on, girls”, “Come on, young men”, “Generations of Alpomish”, “Followers 
of Barchinoy”; 
such pedagogical principles of organizing and conducting sports events, as 
subjectivity, individuality, identification (similarity), reflexivity, as well as the 
possibility of ensuring their intensive connection with moral and aesthetic education 
have been determined; 
socio-pedagogical parameters of moral and aesthetic education of students in 
the organization and conduct of sports events, such as purposefulness, awareness of 
needs, readiness to fulfill social tasks, conscious discipline, self-education were 
improved through the use of such modern pedagogical technologies as cooperation, 
project, case- stages, problematic, complex.
