BOROUGH OF SOUTH GREENSBURG

PUBLIC HEARING

JULY 7, 2014

Council President Clentin Martin called the public hearing to order at 6:00 P.M.

All those present repeated the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
PRESENT: Fajt, Iezzi, Martin, Thomas, Yarnell

PRESENT: Mayor Betty Dobies, Solicitor Timothy Fedele

ABSENT: Hixson, Putt
PURPOSE OF HEARING:
To receive comments and recommendations from interested individuals residing within the Borough of South Greensburg regarding the request by Dr. Dennis Kreinbrook to change the designation of property adjacent to 20 Huff Avenue from a R-1 One Family Residence District to a C-2 General Commercial District.
CITIZEN'S REMARKS:
Rosemarie Foschia, 1519 Elm Street

Mrs. Foschie asked how many people are on the Zoning Hearing Board and how often do they meet?

Mr. Martin said there are 3 members and they meet on an as-needed basis.

Mrs. Foschia asked why the zoning change was being requested?

Mr. Martin said Dr. Kreinbrook purchased some additional property and wants all of his property to have the same zoning designation to be consistent.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Thomas/Fajt to adjourn the meeting.

VOTE: 5 Yes, 0 No, 0 Not Present, 0 Abstain - Motion carried.
