Massage is always an attractive activity regardless whether it is a traditional, 
Californian, Shiatcu, Chinese, Thailandan or Kembiki. As Milinković reports ( 
2003, p.15.) the goal is to have a good result i.e. to reduce the amount of fat in 
the body, to eliminate the stress, to enhance the muscles etc. 33% do massage 
badly, 13,3% do it efficiently, 26,7% said they do it well, 16% said very well 
and 10,7% said they are excellent masseurs. It is on 13th place in the activity 
chart. Based on these results we see that 8 animators are excellently trained, 
while other fall in the category of the ones who know to do massage to the 
clients while for example they are on the beach. 
Latino dance is pretty and attractive art form. However, if there are no clients in 
the hotel who are suitable for this activity it is useless. The results show that 
animators possess certain knowledge of this activity as they put it on 18th place. 
Traditional dance or folklore has its historical feature. It is very popular in the 
countries of Mediterranean. In most hotels there is a whole night dedicated to 
this dance. Still, there are not so many animators who know how to dance this 
style. Most animators learn certain choreographies in the beginning of the 
season. 24% said that they know this dance well, 17,3% said very well while 
9,3% said they are excellent dancers of traditional dance. 
There is not so many connoisseurs of the classical dance and mostly these 
people are required in the hotels where older people stay. 36% handle this 
activity badly and it is on 26th place. 
8. Show dance “Holidays in Evia” Evia 
Singing in a combination with playing an 
instrument is a jackpot as an activity for 
the hotels that do not have large number 
of guests. These skills enable a one man 
show. Singing divides the animators and 
they put it on 15th place. Playing an 
instrument is not well received also and 
49,3% does not play any instrument and 
this activity is on 25th place of the skills 
and knowledge chart. 
On the other hand, show dance is an 
activity for big hotels. Young animators 
are always attracted to it. It is widely 
present in hotels as means of animation. It 
can be presented in the evening hours 
(picture 8) but also during the day for 
example ``the village dance`` - a dance

that is sometimes authentic for some destination. Show dance skills are on 5th 
place of the chart. 
Handling DJ equipment is not so difficult task nowadays because of the 
technological progress. Modern software enables the beginners to mix songs 
seamlessly. The animators are well informed on the DJ equipment. 25,3% of 
animators said they are familiar with this, 21,3% said they are very familiar 
with this and 10 animators or 13,3% said they are very good DJ`s. This activity 
is on place 7th of the chart
Acting is always connected with the stage and the stage is always present in 
animation. Even 32% of animators said they are familiar with acting, 33,3% 
said they are very good actors, 9,3% said they are excellent actors. This activity 
is on 3rd place of the chart. Choreography is a specific activity that is mostly 
connected with a female population. It is on 6th place. Decoration and make-up 
are in the top ten of the chart.
Costumes are important, especially when they are excellently made as in picture 
9., but it is not necessary to have it so the show is held. It is in the bottom of the 
chart on 19th place.
