INTRODUCTION
Relevance of the issue. The relevance of the work is due to the inclusion in the problematic of modern linguistic teachings, which are based on the cognitive, communicative-pragmatic, anthropocentric directions. When studying the issues of the functioning of language, the factor of a person as an active subject of cognition, possessing individual and social experience, a system of knowledge about the world, reflected in his consciousness, is becoming increasingly important. The peculiarity of the functional paradigm in linguistics combines communicative and cognitive approaches in research language practice, which are focused on the study of the functional and communicative aspects of the language, the use of cognitive methods in the analysis of the latter as a means of organizing and transmitting information. The need to study spatial representations is due to the fact that space is a form for constructing the world in human consciousness. Also, the relevance of the study is due to the fact that the functional approach allows you to study spatial relations in a new perspective, taking into account the multi-level means of expressing spatiality, differentiating different spheres - event localization, relative subject localization, dynamic localization associated with the movement of objects. Spatiality acts as a universal organizing center of speech production. In any statement, and more broadly in the text, the spatial essence of the world is fixed.
