RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO IMPOSE AN INCREASE IN LEVIES

WEST YELLOWSTONE SCHOOL DISTRICT

GALLATIN COUNTY
As an essential part of its budgeting process, the West Yellowstone School District #69 Board of Trustees is authorized by law to impose levies to support its budget. The West Yellowstone School District #69 Board of Trustees estimates the following increases/decreases in revenues and mills for the funds noted below for the next school fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017, using certified taxable valuations from the current school fiscal year as provided to the District:

**Building Reserve amounts assume passage of voted levy on the May 2017 ballot.

Regarding the increase in the building reserve levy referenced above, the following are school facility maintenance projects anticipated to be completed at this time:

1. 
   Updating and replacing flooring in hallways and lobby of original school building.
   
2. 
   Updating secure entry door in District lobby.
   
3. 
   Updating paint throughout original school, including main gym.
   
4. 
   Funds may also be saved for the long term goal of replacing the main gym floor.
