“SUCCESS IS ASSURED BY BOOKS.”
Our school has long been associated with a mountain of textbooks that took up half of the ward-
robe in our room. According to the school system, all that is needed for success is a textbook and a 
dictionary.Students will be taught exclusively from textbooks, according to the rigid school curricu-
lum. No supplementary materials were used by the teachers.It was told to us that to excel, we needed 
to memorize all of the content. Simply looking through the textbooks provided no results; in fact, all 
of these textbooks are now gathering dust.Yet, learning is almost impossible without a textbook, but 
a manual is no guarantee of success.
When learning English, make sure to use all of the available content, including; movies or TV 
shows, videos, audio podcasts/books, songs, online tests, and games, in addition to the textbook.
Teachers should use a range of teaching strategies. Moreover, teachers should make English lessons 
more engaging to keep students’ attention at school.
