Program referral would optimally be made 6-weeks prior to reunification. Criteria: For families with at least one child age 10 or older being reunified. No active substance abuse (being in treatment is OK) Child has a mental or emotional disorder and/or an IEP Reason for removal was due to child’s behavior or parent’s ability to manage said behavior. Program is primarily educational although information discussed is directly related to the circumstances surrounding the individual’s involvement with DCF. Not for clients who are in need of outpatient or inpatient substance abuse treatment.	$440 total cost for group 16 session group $25 per session + $40*intake assessment * If more than 1 group is taken by client (i.e. parenting education or domestic violence group the intake assessment fee is reduced to $20 for each subsequent group
