Background
Mr. Caine has a wealth of expertise in his field having over 30 years experience in design and construction of sophisticated building systems. As President of Project Caine, Inc. he brings the knowledge of starting and growing branch offices, bringing divisions back to profitability, developing client loyalty, international experience, and polished presentation skills. Understanding the need to establish and nurture his client relationships, Mr. Caine prides himself in being involved from the onset in all of the firm’s projects.
Experience
Pompano Beach Library, Pompano Beach, Florida. Project Caine, Inc. is part of the design team for Pompano Beach's new 25,000 SF Public Library, Civic Plaza and associated parking to accommodate 130 cars and access road lighting. The first phase of the project included a Master Plan to evaluate the feasibility of designing an 11,000 SF Cultural Center space, second story multi-purpose theater/meeting room and rooftop terrace on the library project. The project is being designed to achieve a LEED Gold level of certification. Total project SF is 36,000.
Roberto Clemente Park Building Renovation, Miami, Florida. This project consisted of the renovation of the existing recreation center in Miami Beach, Florida. The project was approximately 10,000 sf which included bathroom updates to meet ADA codes and provide mechanical ventilation. The HVAC system of the entire facility was updated as well as the lighting.
Alpha Aviation Maintenance Complex: This project involved a new 80,000 SF aircraft maintenance facility complete with fuel system to off load the fuel and refuel the air craft for maintenance. The facility was protected by a Research Facility; this project involved a nine story research facility with two helipads atop the building. A JP-4 refueling system was designed for one of the helipads. Both helipads were designed with AFFF fire protection system.
Westwind Community Center, Miami, Florida. This project consisted of a new one story 6,000 SF Community Center located in Lauderhill. The building consisted of meeting rooms, gym, game room, offices and bathrooms. The electrical design included lighting, site lighting, power, fire alarm, security and communication systems. Mechanical design included heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and plumbing systems.
Embraer Aircraft Warehouse Parts Facility, Broward County, Florida. This project involved a new 40,000 SF aircraft parts facility at the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood Airport.

Experience
Nanay Community Center, North Miami Beach; project cost was $3M and consisted of the renovation and upgrades to existing community center. The project was on two stories and each about 4000 sf. The design provided for the addition of another story and a roof deck on top of the existing facility. The project included a kitchen, bathrooms, offices, recreational areas, and meeting rooms.
Palm Beach County Convention Center, Palm Beach County, Florida. A two-story, $80 Million, 350,000 SF convention center building included the following elements: the first floor included a 100,000 SF Exhibit Hall, meeting Rooms, registration area and terrace, the second floor included 25,000 SF ballroom, meeting rooms and a 7,800 SF kitchen, boardroom, pre-function and terrace. The facility also included 1,100 parking spaces. Electrical design that included lighting, power, fire alarm, security and communication systems. Mechanical design included heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection systems. This project was designed by members of our staff while working for another company.
Miami Beach Library, Miami Beach, Florida. A new $30 M cultural hub and high-tech center. This new library features internet ready computers, study tables wired for computer terminals or laptops, a computer training room, and an auditorium with state-of-the-art telecommunications and audio visual equipment. Temperature and humidity control helps maintain the precise volumes and specialized lighting that serve the stacks study carrels and other diverse areas. Electrical design including lighting, power, fire alarm security and communication systems. Mechanical design included heating, ventilating, air condition, and plumbing systems.
Hallandale Adult Center, Hallandale, Florida. The Electrical design included lighting and power for two soccer fields and one baseball ball field. Lighting was designed to achieve 50 foot-candles on the fields per the city standards. This project was designed by members of our staff while working for another company.
Bridgewater, Palm Beach County, FL. New 100 unit complex consisting of five different unit types.
Four Seasons Sports Club, Miami, FL. Interior renovation of a sports club. The project will be designed and constructed in three phases: Phase 1 will consist of creating a new studio space, Phase 2 includes a new REV studio space and Phase 3 will consist of a juice bar. Services include full MEP/FP engineering services.
Seven Oaks Phase II, Pompano Beach, FL. Mechanical Engineer for design of 32 residential buildings with 5 different building types and 7 different unit types. There were 224 total units averaging about 1,200 SF per unit.
Seven Oaks Phase III, Pompano Beach, FL. Mechanical Engineer for design of 19 residential buildings with 10 different building types and 6 different unit types. There were 173 total units averaging about 1,300 SF per unit. 
Both Seven Oaks Phases II & III included a leasing building and a cabana building with areas for mail and maintenance. Electrical design included lighting, power, fire alarm, security and communication systems. Both project buildings were provided with 100% diesel generator back up power. Mechanical design included heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection systems.
