Brooklyn Bridge, New York City, New York

When the Brooklyn Bridge first opened up in 1883, it was the longest of all

suspension

bridges. Since then, the Landmarks Preservation Commission named it a New York City Landmark, and the National Park Service designated it a National Historic Landmark.
The bridge spans 1,595 feet, reaching 276.5 feet above the water. There is no toll for crossing the bridge in either direction, but you do get beautiful views of New York City.
The bridge features six lanes of traffic for cars, although it also used to have train tracks. You can also take advantage of the pedestrian walkway if you prefer.

2: Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, California

The Golden Gate Bridge is probably one of the most iconic bridges in the world, with its beautiful spread across the water. The bridge includes towers measuring 746 feet tall and sweeping main cables along with Art Deco styling and orange color.
Each year, over 10 million people visit the bridge, so you can expect it to be crowded no matter the time of the year. The bridge is actually designed for tourists, with most visitors stopping by the new Bridge Plaza along the southeast end.
Keep in mind that the bridge does have a toll, but you can also walk across the bridge or ride your bike, although either option is only available at set times each day, during daylight hours.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge, Tampa, Florida

The full name of this bridge is the Bob Graham Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and it crosses Tampa Bay in Florida. This cable-stayed bridge covers a length of 4.1 miles, and both US 19 and I-275 run across it. This allows the bridge to connect Terra Ceia within Manatee County with St. Petersburg in Pinellas County.
The bridge construction spanned from 1982 to 1987, replacing an older bridge. No matter whether you cross the bridge on foot, by bike, or in your car, it is a gorgeous trip without any worries about collapsing.
